COVID-19 Precautions

We hope you are all well during this unprecedented time. Be assured that our facility is still serving our patients and we have taken the following steps in ensuring the safety of our patients and employees.

As always, we are using universal precautions in disinfecting patient treatment areas (exam rooms, operating room, recovery room, pre-op area) between patient uses with hospital grade disinfectants proven effective against Coronavirus. As always, we use universal precautions in wearing disposable personal protective equipment when treating patients.

As an additional precaution, we are disinfecting our common areas (lobby, restrooms) as though they were patient treatment areas in between each patient use instead of just a terminal clean daily.

We are actively screening anyone entering our building (patients, family members, vendors, delivery people, etc.) by asking if over the past 2 weeks, have they had symptoms of cough, fever, or shortness of breath, or if they have recently traveled by plane or cruise, or if they have been in contact with anyone diagnosed or under investigation for COVID-19. If they answer yes to any of the questions, we ask them to reschedule as our specialty is elective. Everyone entering our building is asked to sanitize their hands with hand sanitizer upon entering the building.

Of course, no more hand-shaking.

Fortunately, our lobby is spacious so ample distance can be maintained from other patients. For our patients who do not want to wait in the lobby, they can call us when they arrive in our parking lot to check in and we will call them when their treatment room is ready – bypassing the lobby.

We are increasing the use of telephone consults.

If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to call us. As always, we are here to serve you.
